LESEDI 75MW
Lesedi Solar Project is a 75MW solar photovoltaic (PV) power project developed in Northern Cape Province near the town of Kimberly, South Africa. The construction of the project started in January 2013 and full commercial operations began in May 2014. The engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract for the project was awarded to a consortium of ACS Cobra. AEC team was responsible for design, construction and commissioning of the full electrical Balance of System.
TOUWSRIVIER 44MW (CPV)
The project entails the development of a 44 MWp utility-scale CPV solar power plant in Touwsrivier, South Africa. The construction of the project started in June 2013 and full commercial operations began in February 2015. The engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract for the project was awarded to Group 5 Construction. AEC management team was responsible for design, construction and commissioning of the Inverter Power Stations, Central PV SMART and Power Plant Grid Controller.
BOSHOF 60MW
Boshof Solar Project is a 60MW solar photovoltaic (PV) power project developed in Northern Cape Province near the town of Kimberly, South Africa. The construction of the project started in January 2014 and full commercial operations began in February 2015. The engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract for the project was awarded to a consortium of Engala. AEC team was responsible for design, construction and commissioning of the full electrical Inverter Power Stations and Grid Connected 2 x 50MVA Power Transformers. AEC also involvement in plant optimization such as Reactive power and Ventilation design to for temperature degradations.
Mariental 10MW
Mariental 10mw solar project is based just outside of Mariental Namibia. The project was constructed in 6 months and connected to the Nampower grid. AEC was responsible for full design and management of the project on a full wrapped basis.
Kokerboom 10MW
Kokerboom 10mw solar project is based just outside of Keetmanshoop Namibia. The project was constructed in 6 months and connected to the Nampower grid. AEC was responsible for full design and management of the project on a full wrapped basis.
NCF 5 MW
The NCF 5 MW solar project is based in Odwanga Namibia. The project was constructed in 6 months and connected to the Nampower grid at 132kv level. AEC was responsible for full design and management of the project on a full wrapped basis.
Tandii 5 MW
The Tandii 5 MW solar project is based in Odwanga Namibia. The project was constructed in 6 months and connected to the Nampower grid at 132kv level. AEC was responsible for full design and management of the project on a full wrapped basis.
